This is another project with Snake Publishing, who produced the wonderful “Intriguing Origami”. For many years, I’ve longed to produce a collection of designs by members of the British Origami Society and this is that opportunity.

Choosing the designs (and designers) wasn’t easy, since I was limited to 20 models and there has been such a wealth of creative talent in Britian for many years. In the end, I basically got recommendations from my trusted friends, then drew up a top 20 and picked one design by each folder. Apologies if you didn’t make the cut!

On the left is an earlier cover, I actually prefer it…Snake have applied their masterful layout skills to my artwork and as before, have given the whole book lots of “breathing space” and plenty of full page colour photos. The cover image shown left is one I put together but wasn’t the final design.

I’ve included a brief introduction to the Society and there’s a a brief biography of each creator at the end, with a photo so you can admire them.

I hope it will not only serve as a great collection of origami, but also boost the profile of our wonderful Society! It’s a certainty that I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support, love and inspiration of the BOS and it’s members.
