This book introduces you to the delights of paper-folding (“origami”) and how you can study and enjoy football with it off the pitch. It assumes no previous knowledge and takes you step by step through each model, with a 1-5 “ball rating” to give you an idea of the level. Nothing is complex, but some models may need a bit of practice.
Football fans can learn about the history of the game, its rules and why Sheffield is the Home of Football, including a guide to local dialect and Sheffield football chants.
Origami fans can learn a wide range of models that are great to teach to children and are fun to fold. Ideas for games are included.
The book has been written to help promote the “Sheffield Home Of Football” charity, for whom I am a keen volunteer. In my day job I’m a professional origamist!
