Origami XOXO

2012

Origami for secret (female) agents! Seven Robinson designs and three traditionals to brighten up any females life. Aimed at younger folders; “10 sweet origami designs for sending love notes or precious secrets”, and also includes special feature panels with ideas for activities and notes on such vital skills as making fortune cookies and choosing gemstones written by Susan Behar. Published by Capstone Press. There’s also a “boys” version with different models.

The 48 page book is very attractively laid out and ought to catch the eye of younger folders. A selection of patterned paper is bound in to the rear of the book, but thankfully doesn’t dominate the package.

Yes, for an old-timer, Nick can probably do “cute” as well and it’s great fun (as well as a challenge) to find models that are simple enough for anyone to fold
