I was approached a few years ago to contribute to an origami calendar produced by this company (Accord Publishing) and I sent them a few of my designs. We had an exchange of emails which resulted in my creating and illustrating paper airplanes for this “fold a day” calendar, released in Autumn 2005. The paper size wasn’t A4, so I had to adapt some of my existing designs and come up with new ones as well. The challenge was producing diagrams that fitted on the available space, but weren’t too condensed. Plus they had to fly well! The other designs in the book were created by the American Kyong Lee, but I had no contact with him. Here’s the official blurb:
