I’ve been looking for (and struggling to find) a way to find a couple of my books within Japan, that I could buy and post to a potential publisher there. Anyway, whilst checking amazon out, I spotted these utterly stupid prices for my Encyclopedia of Ori. I just hope nobody actually pays these prices. What are they thinking of??

  1. Rest assured, those crazy prices are generated by computer algorithms, and no one buys them for those prices. It’s a weird by-product of large used booksellers putting all their stock on amazon, which is only feasible if you use software to determine the prices.

Have you tried http://www.amazon.co.jp/ ? (Click on the “English” link to make it usable.) I’ve had good luck buying Japanese books through that.
